Cash Bundren

Here is Cash. He is one of the fifteen human characters who appears in “As I Lay Dying” the book, written by William Faulkner. I have made all fifteen portraits and some other landscape images as abstract figurative ones. These pictures are published in Iran under translated title;
"گور به گور".

Cash does carpentry and he is making a casket because of his mother's will. His mother, Addie Bundren is dying and he must make a coffin to put her into it and take her to Jefferson with the rest of the family. Jefferson is where she got birth and where she wants to be buried after her death.
