Sister!

Her name is sister;
hard to comprehend,
absolutely unsustainable,
but good to draw, and always ready to be the model.

Mum Sleeping

Old drawing of my mum sleeping (again)!
I guess I missed doing mono-print a lot but feel lazy to do new ones.

Asleep

She is my mum sleeping. I like drawing her in every position. Her hair and her style inspire me, always make me draw.
Also, woodcut is one of my favorites.
In this, I'm not sure about the big black part... keep it or cut it!

Anyhow I love this composition and it
's heaviness in contrast with the lines.

Cash Bundren

Here is Cash. He is one of the fifteen human characters who appears in “As I Lay Dying” the book, written by William Faulkner. I have made all fifteen portraits and some other landscape images as abstract figurative ones. These pictures are published in Iran under translated title;
"گور به گور".

Cash does carpentry and he is making a casket because of his mother
's will. His mother, Addie Bundren is dying and he must make a coffin to put her into it and take her to Jefferson with the rest of the family. Jefferson is where she got birth and where she wants to be buried after her death.
