Remember Amadeus, the film? Who doesn't?
At the last section of the film, Mozart is ordered to make
an opus for a man in black who has no face. He comes, gives him coins and wants
him to do a great job, a requiem mass. The man has an appearance as Don Giovanni in IL dissoluto punito, ossia IL Don Giovanni.
The man believes Mozart’s Don Giovanni is a visualization of Mozart’s father because Don is tough, strong, wrathful, fierce
and dressed in black.
So the man wears like Don Giovanni to be known as the soul
of Mozart’s dead father to our lunatic composer and through his unaware eyes.
Mozart writes his own requiem mass, and dies in loneliness and fever.
And my collage; It’s a handmade collage made from my Amadeus DVD cover and a picture
of an old Persian painting. This is my view of death; an irreversible invitation of a man in black, standing at the gate.
Bob Dylan has a song which in, there is a man with the
long black coat who for me is the death itself.
All of it makes me full of anguishes; People don't live or die, people
just float. She went with the man in the long black coat.
